The role: National Accounts Manager
£negotiable plus car, bonus and benefits package.
Hybrid with 1-2 days per week in the Midlands
Are you a dynamic National Accounts Manager with a proven track record in grocery and DIY retail? Join a market-leading supplier of garden products and take ownership of key national accounts across DIY, Grocery, and High Street channels.
- Manage and grow key retail accounts, negotiating all trading terms.
- Develop and execute joint business and promotional plans
- Present existing and future product ranges.
- Work cross-functionally with sales and marketing teams to maximise sales opportunities and minimise channel conflict.
- Support all trade and consumer marketing campaigns
- Build strong relationships with customers’ internal teams
The Candidate
This is a senior appointment within a market-leading business. The job holder will be expected to lead the company’s reputation as a supplier by driving improvement in sales processes, marketing plans, and new product development.
The profile we are looking for includes:
- Proven success in National Accounts Management within grocery and DIY retail.
- Strong track record of sales and margin achievement.
- Commercially astute with excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Outstanding communication skills in all mediums.
- The ability and ambition to deputise for your line manager in his absence
