Key Account Manager for a global household cleaning business, managing a mix of ecommerce and grocery customers.

Client Details

European business with a global presence, who boast a portfolio of instantly recognisable brands within the household cleaning sector, aswell as supplying private label products.

They have grown from strength to strength in the UK market since launch in 2017, set to end 2025 with a UK turnover of £75M and a global turnover of £325m. They supply all leading supermarkets, discounters and highstreet retailers and are currently looking to grow their online offering with the likes of Amazon and Ocado.

Due to 2 internal promotions in the UK team, they are now looking to recruit a Key Account Manager.

Description

Reporting into the UK Sales Director, as Key Account Manager you will inherit a portfolio of accounts and be tasked with growing and developing your portfolio.

Tasks and Functions:
  • Account development - prospect and initiate contact with potential new accounts.
  • Maintain & develop range in live accounts including promotions.
  • Prepare presentations for accounts/prospect accounts in line with marketing & KPIs to achieve budget targets.
  • Establish positive and proactive relationships with key customers and within the business cross functionally.
  • Work with and maintain regular reviews with marketing, finance & demand colleagues to develop products and P&Ls to achieve KPIs.
  • Achieve KPIs set out and agreed with manager.
  • Prepare budget templates as required (July/September).
  • Analysis of market, category and competitor data
  • Travel within UK as required to meet with accounts & colleagues.




Profile

We are looking for candidates at Key Accounts, National Account Executive or Junior NAM level looking to work in a fast paced, entrepreneurial global business with lots of opportunity to progress and develop their career.

You must have FMCG experience, and have either managed or supported on supermarket, retail or online customers.

Any exposure to Amazon is an advantage but by no means necessary.

Job Offer

up to £47,500 + company car, bonus + benefits.

This is a remote role with national travel to customers.
