Salary range: Up to £56,500 + Bonus + Car Allowance

Position Overview
Reporting to the Channel Director and as a key part of one of our Sales team, this role will be responsible for leading the interface between the Company and customers, and the achievement of Company sales, share and profit goals, including maintaining and developing the growth of our brands. This is a demanding role which will require drive, ambition, and enthusiasm, combined with a high level of technical skills such as selling, negotiation, forecasting and commercial awareness; as well as the ability to drive high levels of Customer intimacy. As a key aspect of this role will be the daily interaction with other functions within the business, applicants will need to demonstrate success in working as part of a cross functional team.
Key Responsibilities
Key Accounts – Costco, Spar & Bestway
• Responsible for the management & development of new business across the Wholesale Channel & non-managed convenience retailers
• Focus & responsible on developing & delivering the ‘On the Go’ opportunity across the forecourt channel
• Develops annual business plans to drive growth
• Understands the financial implications of business recommendations
• Implement agreed promotional plan within defined trade investment budgets
• Evaluate promotional effectiveness to ensure the most efficient use of promotional expenditure
• Translates strategies and tactics to support the organisation’s vision
• Identifies business growth opportunities for Yoplait and the customer
• Understands how to leverage the key capabilities to drive business growth (Category Management, Shopper Insights, Pricing, Merchandising)
• Collaborates with customer to develop a customized business plan
Position Criteria
• Strong performance history with successful experience at National Account Manager level within branded FMCG
• Experience & Knowledge of the Wholesale channel & Spar UK desirable
• Demonstrated understanding of the category management process
• Ability to build great customer relationships; listens, understands & responds to customers’ needs
• Confidence and ability to develop and present compelling sales presentations.
• Strong sales and negotiation skills
• Experience of delivering results through working in cross-functional teams.
• Strong commercial acumen and P&L management experience required
• Experience of the Yogurt category beneficial but not essential
• Clean Driving Licence
