We have an opportunity for a Business Development Executive based in the SE region of Northern Ireland i.e Armagh, Lisburn, Newry, Bangor areas. This permanent role is in the convenience sector working with great brands including McVities and Jacobs. A home base in the territory is important.

Job Description:

  • To increase the sales of Pladis range of core products through effectively managing availability and distribution of the core Pladis sku’s in specified Independent and Convenience Symbol stores. This is a targeted role and will receive bonuses based on achieving ROI, Distribution targets, Incremental activity, sales targets and promotional targets.
  • Implementing new product Distribution and ensure all products are fully available by the retailer buying through there route to market.
  • To set callage per journey plan in a given geographical territory
  • Achieving set targets through selling and influenced distribution and achieving national promotional compliance through store manager negotiations.
  • To build external relationships with store personnel and to track competitors’ activity by forming networks with them.
  • Ensuring planogram compliance to the Pladis “Better Biscuit” plan
  • Carry and store POS for activity and to grow the Brand.
  • Driving promotional compliance.
  • Completing transfer orders to introduce distribution gaps.
  • Hitting Pre sells for NDP listings.
  • Setting up secondary siting’s & displays in stores.
