ADM Protexin LTD manufacture innovative products of the highest quality for the animal and human healthcare markets. We are now seeking an experienced National Account Manager to oversee our Pet retail channel throughout the UK. In this pivotal role, you will focus on expanding our newly launched Daily Care range for pets.
Your expertise will be instrumental in forging and nurturing strong partnerships with key leading pet retailers like Pets at Home, Pets Corner, and Jollyes.
By driving sales growth and ensuring our products are prominently showcased, you will play a vital role in our ongoing success in these competitive markets.
Responsibilities:
• Win new business and manage our Pet channel accounts (Pets at Home, Pets Corner, Jollyes etc).
• Create and develop joint business plans that align with our business strategy and will deliver against the company's objectives.
• Provide forecasts and full P&L and evaluate ROI from media activities within accounts and help implement effective marketing and promotional plans.
• Win new listings and work with range reviews to increase distribution and provide a comprehensive analysis to improve sales.
• Prepare for and lead customer facing meetings.
• Ongoing planning and management of promotions throughout the trading year, providing supporting analysis where required - aligning to key events.
• Maintain relevant stock trackers (SO&P forecasting) and key information on EPOS sales out vs sales in.
• Deliver robust distribution, availability, visibility, and promotion plans by customer.
• Lead periodic account review meetings providing insights on drivers of performance.
• Manage and process invoices, claims, and deductions to agreed levels.
• Complete new line forms and price change forms as required.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Experience working in the Pet Retail sector, specifically with major retailers
• A number of years experience in a national account management position.
• Beneficial but not mandatory to have a Business Degree or equivalent qualification.
Skills and Competencies:
• Strong commercial skills and ability to document P&L.
• Excellent commercial acumen and proven new business hunter.
• Excellent IT, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Excellent presentation, attention to detail and communication skills.
