£50-55,000 Basic, Bonus, Company Car + Benefits

Our client is a leader in the “old fashioned” confectionery market with a loyal following in the garden centre and tourist attraction channels. A new line in products however opens the way for a substantial opportunity to extend the offering to National Accounts across both garden centre nationals, grocery and convenience nationals. To date, much of the product has been sold via a network of wholesalers however the company has taken the strategic decision to adopt a direct supply strategy going forward.

To this end we have been retained to recruit an accomplished individual to undertake further penetration and expansion of the various National Account channels. He job holder will be required to manage an existing customer base however the national accounts channels hold much potential so you should also be familiar with and skilled at the new business process.

To be considered for this exciting position you should ( ideally ) be from a food sales background, and better still from confectionery or gifting food, and have recent and relevant exposure to National Accounts in either garden centres, supermarket / top four grocery or convenience / symbol groups.
