I’m currently supporting a wellness brand on a ridiculous growth journey, one of the biggest players in the category and are:
- Vegan
- Halal
- Sugar free
- Gluten Free
They’re ready to change up the strategy and are looking for an individual from a commercial background (account management, category management, etc.) ready to transition into a Market Strategy and Planning / Commercial Strategy position and ready to propel the business into an even bigger stage of growth.
This role reports directly to the COO and will work closely with them to analyse and understand key aspects of the business, including the people involved, locations, core activities, and operational methods. The role will allow for cross-functional working with several departments to develop innovative commercial strategies that will drive the next phase of business growth.
This business has huge growth plans and aims to double turnover in the next 2 years – Do you want personal recognition for this level of business success?
Role responsibilities:
- Analyse market trends, opportunities, competitive threats, and customer behaviour to inform pricing strategies.
- Develop Pack Price Architecture aligned with shopper needs, set KPIs for tracking, and manage the S&OP planning cycle with a performance-focused approach.
- Coordinate with sales, marketing, and finance to execute commercial campaigns.
- Define SKU/channel segmentation and guide sales in high-impact execution plans.
- Establish promotional guidelines and a tracking process.
The ideal candidate:
- FMCG sales / category/ RGM experience
- Strong commercial acumen and data-driven decision-making
- Advanced Excel skills and project management experience
- Skilled in negotiation and stakeholder engagement
- Proven leadership with the ability to inspire and influence
- Self-starter with strategic thinking abilities
The benefits:
- Salary – £50-£60k (Depending on Experience)
- Bonus – 10%
