National Account Manager - Health and Beauty Discounters
Description
The National Account Manager - Health and Beauty Discounters will be responsible for growing Own Brand and Distributor brand business in the discount channel with a specific focus on customers such as Home Bargains, B&M, Poundland and Bodycare.
Some smaller accounts will also form part of the portfolio. The National Account Manager is required to build exceptionally strong customer relationships & increase our level of influence to grow the account portfolio ahead of the market within these strategically important Discount Customers.
The Discount channel currently equates to 35% of the total UK business worth c£10m at Net Sales. The business ambition is to grow the Discounter channel strategically but in line with the forecasted growth of the Channel. The NAM is responsible for developing & implementing annual account plans and working with the UK Sales Controller to develop a long term strategy for growth which enables budgeted sales & contribution targets to be hit and exceeded.
Profile
The National Account Manager - Health and Beauty Discounters will come with the following skills and experience:
- Previous work experience as a National Account Manager level is essential.
- Experience in Health, Beauty, Personal Care and Wellness brands would be ideal
- Experience working in a FMCG business is essential.
- Experience of the discounters such as Home Bargains, B&M, Poundland etc.
- MS Outlook, PowerPoint, Word & Advanced level Excel is essential.
- Working collaboratively with stakeholders at various levels is essential.
- Experience working in the Health & Beauty sector desirable.
- Educated to graduate level ideally in a related Business degree.
- Travel in the UK is an essential part of the role.
- Flexible location, although regular visits to the Berkshire office are required.
Job Offer
£50,000 to £60,000 per annum, depending on experience + car allowance, bonus and benefits
