BAT are a leading, multi-category consumer goods business. Our purpose is to build A Better Tomorrow™ by reducing the health impact of our business through offering a greater choice of enjoyable and less risky products for our consumers. You will be representing BAT in the top 4 grocers; raising awareness of the BAT brands and providing best in class merchandising solutions across Tobacco, Vaper and Modern Oral categories.

Role Details:

Salary: Competitive

Bonus: 15 % Performance Related Bonus

Equipment Provided: Company Vehicle, Fuel Card, Mobile Phone

As a Regional Field Manager for British American TobaccoRole Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Line management responsibility for a field based team, including recruiting, managing, directing and motivating. Conducting individual performance appraisals, implementing personal development plans and coaching.
  • Managing the delivery of agreed field retail performance standards, procedures and systems ensuring that deadlines are met and that all company policies are applied
  • Carrying out monthly team meetings in order to discuss results, provide training and to give direction on strategic priorities
  • Regular analysis of team performance in conjunction with data insights and production of weekly and monthly reports
  • Ensuring BAT products have maximum availability across all stores within your territory.

 What skills can I expect to develop in this role?

Relationship building, Product Education, Systems Awareness and Commercial awareness, Business performance.

Who are we looking for?

  • Ideally you will have line management experience within a sales, FMCG or retail, although we will also consider applications from ambitious and motivated individuals with experience from other sectors.
  • You will be excited about leading and motivating a team to represent a great brand, show resilience, drive and tenacity to succeed.
  • Previous experience managing a remote or field based team advantageous
  • You must hold a full manual driving licence and be able to travel within a defined territory.
