Our client is already a leader in licensed and branded domestic toys across garden centres and toy stores nationwide, however a recent joint venture now means the company has access to a magnificent range of beach and inflatable toys imported from the far east. The range is highly relevant for sale via the larger grocery chains, Argos, Amazon ( vendor ) and also the larger specialist toy retailers. With that in mind we have been retained to identify and recruit an accomplished individual to take charge of the new range, and to manage the resulting customer base. The job holder will be supported by a small team of office-based sales coordinators.
We have been briefed to consider candidates with high levels of commercial savvy and flair however your application would be of particular interest if you had exposure to FOB.
Our Client will consider candidates from any Non Food Category although a background in Toys and/or Gifts would be ideal however definitely not essential. Relevant channel exposure is however essential so candidates should have a proven track record of success in at least one of the following channels:
Specialist Toy Retailers
Grocery Multiples (inc. Aldi and/or Lidl)
Discount Retailers
Garden Centre Groups
To be considered for this exciting position you should be based in the Midlands region.
