Home-based, South West HQ (1 day/week)

Around £55,000 + bonus, car allowance, benefits

We are looking for an ambitious national account manager who has their career sights set in the FMCG sector, confidently conversant with customer relationships across a varied portfolio of existing trade partners including Grocery Retail and Discounters, as well as brand new opportunities in untapped environments … no day will be the same! 

The UK arm of a European €3.4Bn culinary food business in branded and private label goods that enjoy a dominant kitchen cupboard staple status, is enjoying successful growth right now in a competitive category. The key to success is finding natural sales talent with the skill and attitude, as well as ambition, to show how their value and contribution will make an impact on reputation amongst major Customers. Already an envious category player for over 50 years, with revenue in excess of £50m, the current scale represents only half of what can be achieved. With the right ‘sales firepower’, there is so much more success to be had amongst major customers and desperate for innovation and inspiration.

You will be driven by your FMCG sales career success to date; well trained and excited now to thrive in the spotlight as a fully fledged NAM, certainly not shy of real ownership and empowerment. We are looking for experience typical of 2 years+ account management experience ready to ‘step up’ - known for their determination to achieve strong results and stand out from the crowd.

This role will perfectly suit an ambitious account manager who knows they can achieve so much more if they are empowered and free to do so.

We are looking for an account manager/account exec/BDM with branded FMCG experience. A hands-on working knowledge of national account customers in retail or wholesale channels; someone who is driven by their career success and who thrives in the spotlight, certainly not shy of real ownership and empowerment. We are looking for experience and skills typical of an NAE or Junior NAM or BDM ready to ‘step up’ - known for their determination to achieve strong results and stand out from the crowd.
