We are looking for a Retail Field Sales Representative to join the Sales team. This is an exciting new role that will be responsible for enhancing the in-store experience, maximizing sales opportunities, and ensuring that our products are effectively presented and understood by both customers and store staff. You will be the face of Joseph Joseph in stores, building strong relationships with retail partners to ensure brand excellence at every level.

What you will be doing:

  • Sales day in store
  • Welcome and assist customers, converting interest into sales opportunities through effective product demonstrations and exceptional service
  • Actively showcase Joseph Joseph products using advanced sales techniques to drive conversions and meet store targets
  • Ensure that all stores are visually appealing, clean, and well-organized with accurate pricing and well-stocked shelves
  • Continuously enhance your product knowledge and ensure that store staff are equally well-informed to better support customers
  • Monitor store stock levels and flag any discrepancies or restocking needs to the store and account managers
  • Identify and report potential growth opportunities or new business prospects to the sales team.
  • Represent Joseph Joseph at store events, brand activations, or product launches to increase brand visibility
  • Training & Merchandising days
  • Organize and run engaging sales training sessions for store staff using videos, product samples, and other training materials to ensure thorough product knowledge
  • Lead product training sessions for new team members and agency staff to ensure seamless integration and strong product knowledge
  • Create a genuine enthusiasm for Joseph Joseph products among store staff, ensuring they share the brand’s values and can articulate the benefits to customers
  • Reinforce adherence to merchandising standards in stores, ensuring products are displayed according to Joseph Joseph’s guidelines
  • Continuously monitor stock levels, providing feedback and flagging any issues to store and account managers for swift resolution
  • Serve as a Joseph Joseph brand ambassador, representing the brand positively and maintaining it's strong reputation in-store.

What we need from you:

  • Proven experience in a retail, sales, or merchandising environment, ideally within a premium or fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) brand
  • Strong sales skills with a proven ability to convert customer interest into purchases and exceed sales targets.
  • Experience delivering training and product knowledge sessions, with the ability to engage and motivate teams
  • A genuine enthusiasm for Joseph Joseph products and a passion for delivering an outstanding in-store experience
  • Comfortable using digital tools, apps, and systems to support store management, stock monitoring, and reporting
  • Working patterns: 2 days working in-store and 3 days visiting stores each week. Availability to work 1 weekend day, with 1 day off during the week. The role requires lots of regular travel across the UK
  • A full, clean driving license is required and a company-funded car will be provided
  • You will ideally be based in the Southeast, with frequent travel to and around London
