A superb opportunity for a highly motivated Business Development Manager, with a focus on Foodservice or Contract Catering, to expand the B2B client base and increase revenue within the Oxfordshire / Berks / Midlands.

Client Details

A successful family owned Contract Catering business, specialising in providing the full foodservice offering to a range of B2B clients including; education, care homes, businesses through to healthcare. The company prides themselves on delivering a platinum service which sets them apart.

Description
  • Segment, identify and engage with potential B2B clients within the given territory
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships to be included in the cyclical RFP's
  • Secure meetings to produce the required number of proposals
  • Write proposals that portray a creative and compelling foodservice offering
  • Draw on the internal touchpoints to maximise the impact of all meetings throughout the proposal meetings.




Profile

A successful Business Development Manager will have:
  • Business Development Management of B2B clients within the foodservice or contract catering sector
  • Experience and demonstrable wins within the given sector clients
  • Acute understanding of a mid-long sales cycle. Able to build a key network of contacts to secure RFP's
  • Ability to draw on numerous internal stakeholders to pull together a successful proposal including; operations, chef's......etc
  • Excellent presentation skills to secure the contract wins!
  • Ability to adapt to varying external stakeholders i.e. bursars, heads of, procurement
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and sales skills
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
