Job Details

Maternity cover, 12-month contract - must be able to start within 4 weeks.

Hybrid 2 days M4 Corridor, West London, North London

 

As a crucial member of the sales team, this role will report to the customer director and oversee the primary point of contact for customers, achieve the company's profit, share, and sales targets, and foster portfolio growth within this strategically significant retail partner.

This is a challenging position that calls for a high degree of technical abilities, including selling, negotiating, forecasting, and commercial acumen, along with drive, ambition, enthusiasm, and inventiveness. Additionally, the successful candidate must promote high levels of customer intimacy.

Being at ease with taking ownership of the performance of the portfolio is just as crucial as having a strong desire to drive change.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Create and present the customer with a yearly sales plan.

Provide accurate volume and financial forecasts on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

Follow established investment budgets when carrying out agreed-upon promotional strategies, and make constant improvements by proactively seeking out, assessing, and seizing chances for revenue management.

Job Requirements

Degree Educated

Demonstrated success as a National Account Manager in FMCG

Strong familiarity with and understanding of the UK grocery market

Powerful negotiating & sales abilities
