 Our client is already a leader in their particular sector of the gift category, and with a strong presence in both the national garden centre and the retail channels. A recent merger means the company now has a similarly appealing range of toys which will appeal to the very same channels. It is realistically anticipated that the company is in for an extended and sustainable period of growth of both sales and also profits, and to that end we have been briefed to identify and to recruit two accomplished individuals who will be in a position to help the company execute those plans. These opportunities will particularly appeal to those individuals who not only want to share in the excitement, but also to help create it !

 Although the company already has existing trading connections with some of the target customers, there is also a substantial opportunity to turn on new business, so we are very much looking for candidates with existing contacts in either the discount grocery channel, and / or the traditional grocer channel, and / or National Garden Centre groups and / or department stores. And of course, your background should be either toys or gifts.

 We have been retained to recruit a National Account Manager and also a Key Account Manager, the National Account Manager having the focus on new business generation, and the Key Account Manager having responsibility for some new business generation, and some management of existing accounts. Both vacancies include new business generation so you should be comfortable with, and well-practised in the art of new business generation in either instance.

 To be considered for either of these exciting opportunities it is critical that you are well connected in either the group garden centre of group retail channels ( either small or large retailers ). Either way it is very much expected that you will thrive on autonomy, and will be comfortable taking the lead in the company’s strategic growth plans. This is an opportunity to build your own business within the business, and we are not looking for back seat drivers !

 In return for your dedication and hard work our client is prepared to pay a basic salary of between £45,752 and £55,542 plus a generous bonus and ( attractive ) car allowance.

 As the jobs are home based you can live anywhere in the country.
