BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER – NORTH OF ENGLAND

Distribution Supplies Group Limited is a company that consists of 3 trading distribution companies selling WALL & FLOOR TILES in bulk supply.

We now want to expand the business by taking advantage of the opportunities/alternative income streams that our products give us that are currently under exploited.

This will mean that we want a capable individual with a proven track record in business development to bring to us the expertise & experience required to further develop the TILE MERCHANTS branded products.

We are looking for a capable individual who can “SELL” & broker pallet sales & full trailer sales of the portfolio of products which consist of wall & floor tiles & patio tiles for all domestic & commercial applications.

The brief will include the creating an increase in our current share of the market in the North hard selling to our customer base consisting of tile shops/distributors that currently make up the bulk of our customers.

The successful candidate will be ambitious & self-motivated to be capable of taking control of the task & the further development of the opportunity that this sector offers.

Over & above everything the appointed manager must be able to establish a solid business model to create a successful profitable sector for TILE MERCHANTS & to be able to bring to our existing group positive results & sizeable growth.

Once positively established we are prepared to invest in further in the successful individual & accelerate the growth created.

The applicant must be able to demonstrate success in previous roles & have a driving entrepreneurial mindset to want to see success & to be able to offer a hands-on approach to all aspects of the tasks needed to make the position a success.

As the business grows the candidate will need good man-management skills to be able to control & motivate a salesforce to further expand our business growth.

Applicants are invited from all market sectors & who are used to a field-based role but within a commutable distance of all areas within the territory which will be all points north of the Midlands to actively visit customers.

Salary Circa £40,000-50000 OTE

Co vehicle provided & all company expenses & benefits commensurate with role.

Distribution Supplies group is an importer & distributor of quality wall & floor tiles from around the world, our trading profile is to sell in bulk supply porcelain & ceramics for the home & commercial applications together with an extensive outside 2cm paver collections for patio & landscaping projects.

We stock heavily in the UK & distribute from 4 national depots with an established customer base of 1300 clients nationwide to include N.Ireland consisting of Tile specialist outlets to builders merchant groups & project clients. There are 4 divisional companies that make up our group & we are leading player in the wholesale distribution bulk supply marketplace
