- Managing Director EMEA - Food Ingredients - England
Strategic Leadership:- Develop and execute the EMEA business strategy in alignment with the global objectives.
- Identify new business opportunities, market trends, and areas for growth, including geographic and product expansion.
- Drive the region's financial performance, ensuring revenue growth, profitability, and sustainable practices.
Operational Management:- Oversee all operations within the EMEA region, ensuring efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Establish and manage budgets, forecasts, and operational targets.
- Implement robust governance, risk management, and compliance processes across the region.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives across production, supply chain, and customer service functions.
Team Leadership & Development:- Lead and mentor a diverse team of regional executives and managers, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Ensure leadership succession planning and development of talent across the region.
- Promote an inclusive workplace culture, ensuring diversity and equity across teams.
Customer & Stakeholder Engagement:- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, suppliers, and partners within the region.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
- Engage with regional regulatory authorities and ensure compliance with local regulations and standards.
Financial & Performance Management:- Deliver P&L performance in line with targets set by the Global CEO and Board.
- Optimise regional pricing strategies, cost management, and resource allocation.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and lead initiatives to improve operational performance and profitability.
Innovation & Sustainability:- Champion innovation in product development, technology adoption, and sustainability practices.
- Ensure alignment with global sustainability goals, driving responsible sourcing, energy efficiency, and waste reduction efforts within the region.
Profile
Managing Director EMEA - Food Ingredients
- We are looking to speak to commercial focused Managing Directors with a track record in food or beverage ingredients within the FMCG channel.
- Proven track record of managing P&L and leading large-scale operations across multiple countries within the EMEA region.
- Experience in managing customers including food and beverage manufacturers & out of home customers.
- Strong experience in strategic planning, business development, and operational excellence.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and influence.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building abilities with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience working in a matrixed, multicultural environment.
- Solid understanding of market dynamics, regulatory landscapes, and economic factors impacting the EMEA region.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity.
- Financial acumen, with a deep understanding of financial statements, budgeting, and profitability levers
- This role is based at the HQ in the UK, candidates can be based across Europe and must be prepared for regular international travel.
Job Offer
Basic salary depending on experience c£150,000
