£47,589 to £55,102 Basic plus ( lucrative ) bonus scheme, car allowance + benefits

Our client is an established manufacturer of pet accessories and pet food products, with an enviable customer base across the UK, but serviced via the wholesale / route to market channel. A recent investment from the parent company has led to a change in strategy, and it is now the company’s plan to supply the retail channel directly and to place considerably less emphasis on the wholesale RTM channel. Although the company’s products are already on the retailers shelves the supply route is in most instances via the wholesale channel, which makes this in effect like a new business role.

To that end we have been retained to recruit an accomplished individual to open up direct supply chains to the major retailers ( across all retail channels ). The job at hand will be exciting and challenging however the potential is substantial.

To be considered for this exciting position you should currently be working in the pet category and selling into some kind of key or national retail account ( either general or specialist ). You should not be afraid of hard work and will display a talent for new business acquisition.
