BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Distribution Supplies Group Limited is a company that consists of 3 trading distribution companies selling WALL & FLOOR TILES in bulk supply.

We now want to expand the business by taking advantage of the opportunities/alternative income streams that our products give us that are currently under exploited.

This will mean that we want a capable individual with a proven track record in business development to bring to us the expertise & experience required to develop the new divisional sectors of “Special order for larger format tiles & for the outside paving sectors” & also to further develop our soft flooring divisional sector which currently is seeing great success & growth in SPC/LVT products.

Both these divisional sectors will see the expansion of our special-order divisions with an emphasis on point of sale/marketing/placement of stands account development outside of our current client base, to seek new markets & new opportunities to further exploit our portfolio of products.

The brief will include the creating of a specification/contract market & the opening of alternative account base to that of tile shops/distributors that currently make up the bulk of our customers.

The successful candidate will be ambitious & self-motivated to be capable of taking control of the task & the further development of the opportunity that these sectors offer.

Over & above everything the appointed manager must be able to establish a solid business model to create a successful profitable sector for both divisions & to be able to bring to our existing group positive results & sizeable growth.

Once established we are prepared to invest in further recruitment of a specialised sales force to support & accelerate the growth created.

The applicant must be able to demonstrate success in previous roles & have a driving entrepreneurial mindset to want to see success & to be able to offer a hands-on approach to all aspects of the tasks needed to make the position a success.

As the business grows the candidate will need good man-management skills to be able to control & motivate a salesforce to further expand our business growth.

Salary Circa £40,000-50000 OTE

Co vehicle provided & all company expenses & benefits commensurate with role.

We stock heavily in the UK & distribute from 4 national depots with an established customer base of 1300 clients nationwide to include N.Ireland consisting of Tile specialist outlets to builders merchant groups & project clients. There are 4 divisional companies that make up our group & we are leading player in the wholesale distribution bulk supply marketplace
