Navson, a progressive, energised and successful FMCG organisation, are looking for a Regional Account Manager to identify new business opportunities and manage existing accounts within a assigned territory.

Role:

If you are a hungry and energetic with an eye for detail, then this role could be the ideal opportunity for you to join a fast-growing business and to build a long-term career. This is a fast-paced role working with multiple brands.

  • Generate New Business.
  • Manage Existing Accounts.
  • Manage Midlands territory.
  • Working closely with the Sales Controller to deliver a key part of the sales strategy.
  • Implementing – where relevant - national business plans.
  • Be the first line of commercial contact for new business.
  • Liaising with other departments to resolve issues and maximise opportunities
  • Negotiation: Skilfully negotiate pricing, promotions, and terms to achieve mutually beneficial agreements with customers.

Performance Measurements:

  • Achieve monthly sales targets and KPI's.
  • Deliver against distribution, volume, and other commercial metrics.
  • Deliver product distribution growth.
  • Implementation & execution of National Promotional Activity.
  • Ensuring an effective journey call plan is developed to meet business and customer needs.

The candidate:

  • A sales professional with a business development mindset.
  • FMCG experience a pre-requisite.
  • Experience with dealing with Unitas and Confex advantageous.
  • Hungry and energetic.
  • Have an ambitious career with a view to progressing quickly whilst learning.
  • Highly numerate with good client relationship building skills.
  • Business development or sales experience advantageous.
  • Ability to work under pressure and self-motivated.
  • Target driven with good negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Show strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Establish rapport and build relations across all levels.
  • Midlands based.
