About us

The Bramble Foods Group is a fine food wholesaler and manufacturer offering the independent, regional, and national retailer a fantastic choice of high quality, fine foods, confectionery & gifts. We have our own bakery producing cakes, flapjacks and traybakes, along-side our preserve, chutney, condiment & sauce making business serving retail and food-service.

Our Bramble & Bay Tree brands include over 2500+ all year round and seasonal products and are complimented by several specially selected brands which we feel combine to give an unrivalled range for the discerning retailer.

To support our continued growth, we are seeking a sales professional to join our team and to develop our business in South Yorkshire and Lincolnshire area.

A competitive salary, commission and bonus are offered plus a company car.  Benefits include staff purchase scheme, 4-weekly pay, 30 days holiday (including bank holidays), option to purchase up to 3 additional days holiday, Christmas shutdown and employer pension contributions.

The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with experience in selling to a wide variety of trade sectors including garden centres, farm shops, multiples, and food service sectors etc.

The successful candidate will split their time managing and developing existing high-profile accounts and winning new business, growing sales of the new and existing product ranges.

The Person

The successful candidate will need to possess the following attributes:

  • You will be an articulate, enthusiastic, confident, self-reliant, independent worker with the ability to interact with customers in a relaxed and courteous manner. 
  • You will be able to analyse information rapidly to create sales and profit solutions for your customers and the company.
  • You must be sales driven, commercially astute and able to recognise and capitalise on opportunities. Goal setting and achieving targets will appeal to you and you will need to be IT literate.
  • You will have the drive and focus to prospect and open new business
  • Experience selling into garden centres, farm shops & gift shops are desirable, but quality candidates with transferable skills from other sales sectors are encouraged to apply.  
  • Be able to demonstrate a proven success in new business development, whilst being a creative thinker who can demonstrate flexibility and adaptability.
  • Have excellent organisational skills including report writing.
