BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER – ON TRADE

The Company

Our client is an independent family brewer with a wonderful portfolio of premium Dutch and Belgian beers. They have been in business for over 300 years, based on their shared passion for beer and a good sense of quality.

They are growing their presence further in the UK and are seeking a Business Development Manager to join their ‘on trade’ sales team. The job role is field-based but candidates should ideally live within a reasonable commute distance to the Midlands. You must also possess a valid UK driving licence.

The Role

You will operate as a brand ambassador to generate new business and effectively manage new accounts. Making high quality plans weekly to generate the best leads, you will advise, understand, recommend and execute the best route to market for each on trade outlet, choosing whether to supply via a wholesaler or supplying directly. The role will provide plenty of opportunities to realise your entrepreneurship within a rapidly growing company.

About You

We are looking for graduate-calibre individuals with c. 5 years’ experience in FMCG on trade sales. You can develop effective and strong relationships from scratch, manage your own agenda and deliver high quality communication of activities. You are committed to meeting customer needs and delivering customer satisfaction. You understand financial metrics and are results driven.
