We have an opportunity for an Area Sales Manager covering the North West of England. This permanent role is in foodservice covering the HoReCa sector.
You will be representing a successful family business established for over 35 years.

We have an exciting opportunity and are looking for  accomplished salespeople who possess the ability to both manage existing business and can also prospect and develop new business, ensuring our business continues to grow.
If you are successful in foodservice sales then this role is for you! 
Our business continues to grow and the Area Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in our plans for this. As an Area Sales Manager you will have the autonomy to manage and grow your opportunities in your territory. 

Key Responsibilities: 
- Manage an existing base of customers with a focus on retention and growth. 
- Regularly prospect for new business via self-served leads and cold calls. 
- To create and manage a pipeline of potential customers.
- To win new business at a rate agreed to a new business target.
- To manage a weekly planner for the current week and week ahead.
- Work as a team player with all members of the business. 
- Communicate with updates on successes/challenges.
- Use weekly sales reports to monitor customer spends.
- All admin to be completed in a timely and professional manner.
- Always represent the business in a courteous and professional manner. 

To succeed you will have: 
- Ability to evidence success in the HoReCa sector.
- Knowledge and experience in foodservice in the HoReCa sector.
- Experience in the foodservice sector.
- Ability to evidence success in the new business. 
- Resilience in overcoming objections while maintaining a positive outlook. 
- Result oriented – maximise opportunities through cold calling, networking and relationship building. 
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft tools and managing sales reports. 
- Full UK Driving License.
