Title: Customer Supply Chain Assistant
Location: Mansfield, Nottinghamshire
Salary: £28,000 - £34,000 DOE
Pattern: Site based

Reporting to the Commercial Director this role will be pivotal in supporting the long-term supply arrangement with one of our clients main customers, Sainsbury's.

Information gathering will be at the heart of this role - it will be essential that data can be consolidated and shared in a consistent, timely and accurate manner to enable proactive customer support.

Key responsibilities:

• Coordinating crop information updates for both own and third party crops and communicating the overall picture with customer
• Understanding, consolidating and communicating overall crop supply
• Undertaking retail pricing surveys and consolidating benchmarking information for customer
• Updates for customer on competitor activations and NPD
• Support for crop supply planning, particularly at peak periods, and ensure customer is kept fully briefed

Key requirements:

• Previous exp. working within FMCG Supply Chain
• Data literacy - strong numerical reasoning
• Good interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with suppliers, customers and colleagues

Other details:

• Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week basic over 5 days, overtime required at busy periods.
