Business Account Manager – Waitrose (12m FTC)
Home based / South East Office 2 days a week
c£60k plus car allowance £8k and benefits

- Leading branded foods business seeking a Business Account Manager for a 12 month FTC month to manage Waitrose

The role:
- We are looking for a Business Account Manager to manage Waitrose relationship to cover a 12 month maternity cover period (FTC)
- The customer relationship is in a positive place, very much one of partnership; and the brands resonate with the Waitrose customer profile! In the year ahead they have some exciting plans for your to deliver alongside normal JBP management
- You’ll have full responsibility for leading the interface with this key customer. So being able to maintain a deep understanding of the retailer, their shoppers and strategy will be key to align for current & future growth opportunities.
Ideal candidate:
- For this Business Account Manager appointment and we need someone with a proven track record of delivery at Grocery Account Management; within a branded foods or drink business.
- The portfolio comes with a degree of complexity (multi-brands, skus, promos, etc); so, individuals must have a strong analytical understanding, commercial modelling skills and have experience of leading sustainable change within teams or companies.
- Naturally, this is a demanding role which will require drive, ambition, enthusiasm and creativity, combined with a high level of technical skills such as selling, negotiation, forecasting and commercial acumen.

- Salary is pitched c£60k plus £8k car allowance, pension and private medical.

- Office is based West London
