Job Details
My client a successful foodservice design and build contractor in the hospitality industry is looking to add to its success office furniture division. With exciting plans for the future my client is looking to employ a Business Development Manager based in the South East and London region.
About the Role:
- To support my client’s growth aspirations, this ‘Furniture BDM – Office Sector’ role has been created to support the expansion of the business.
- This role encompasses sales, administration and project management and we are looking for individuals with sufficient agility to manage all these aspects in a fast-moving environment
- Full training and ongoing support with be given and the successful candidate would have the benefit of a large and successful business supporting them.
- A generous and achievable open ended bonus scheme will form part of this role.
Key Responsibilities Will Include:
- Handle leads from incoming enquiries and / or from existing customers on an ad hoc basis.
- New business development.
- Build relationships with Interior Designers, end users, QS’s with a view to selling all divisions of the group within the hotel sector.
- Hold introductory meetings with key decision makers / influencers to present contract furniture.
- Attend briefing meetings to take full client brief.
- Undertake technical site surveys.
- Produce and present quotes (quote tools will be provided).
- Present designs and quotes back to clients.
- Project management of projects.
Expected Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience withing the office sector as a Sales Representative.
- A knowledge of the contract furniture industry.
- Experience in specifying product with designers or end users.
- Target driven.
- CRM proficient.
- Ability to negotiate.
- Passion!
Salary:
- Package will include car allowance, laptop and tablet, mobile phone, pension and healthcare.
