In this key role, you will be coordinating and managing the company's regulatory reporting process. You will be responsible for budget planning and supporting the executive management team in making the best possible business decisions for the business to ensure the best sales performance by utilising all resources in the most optimal ways.

Description
Trading Analysis
- Analysing retail data across 10+ stores and web channels to identify trends and potential opportunities.
- Developing strategic plans in collaboration with Directors to improve sales performance.
- Collaborating with the retail team to implement strategies and initiatives.
- Providing insightful reports to senior management.
- Ensuring retail strategies align with overall business goals.
- Monitoring the effectiveness of implemented strategies.
- Conducting regular competitor analysis.
- Develop financial monitoring tools in collaboration with UK General Manager and operational managers
- Maintain and monitor reports of Net Sales, COGS, overheads and Inventories
- Develop financial KPIs and identification of risks & opportunities
- Carry out profitability studies for potential new store openings and other ad hoc requests
- Establishing/maintaining financial policies and procedures of internal control.
Reporting
- Identification and analysis of variances vs Budget and vs Rolling Forecast
- Profitability monitoring with implementation of relevant analysis on Sales (Product mix by store, Footfall…), Margins and Costs
- Provide advice for corrective action and preparation of all financial reporting
- Participation in the preparation of Budget and Rolling Forecast exercises (Stores / Eshop / Warehouse / Lab / Headquarters)
Profile
- A degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst within the retail sector.
- Prior collaborations with various departments especially accounting departments.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in using data analysis tools and software such as Excel / Powerpoint / ERP system / BI
- Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present findings effectively across all levels of management.
- Fluent in English. Good knowledge of French is a plus.
