This role is for a Senior Garment Technologist who will lead the Fashion department in a prominent womenswear fashion supplier. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of womenswear garment technology and a deep understanding of the fashion industry.

Description

· Overseeing garment fitting and quality control processes.

· Attending fit meetings with the retail buying teams.

· Driving the development of new products in line with the latest fashion trends.

· Collaborating with the design and production teams to ensure product quality and consistency.

· Providing technical expertise and advice to the team.

· Identifying and implementing process improvements within the department.

· Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

· Managing and developing a high-performing team.

· Contributing to strategy development within the fashion department.

Profile

A successful Senior Garment Technologist should have:

· Strong womenswear multiproduct experience.

· Knowledge of garment construction and manufacturing processes.
