Senior National Account Manager – Private Label – Major Grocers

c£70k plus 12.5% bonus, car allowance & package

Hybrid role – Based c2-3 days in London office

 

Our client:

  • Leading Chilled Foods supplier operating across both branded and private label products
  • Private Label underpins their operation, gives them significant scale and assists their branded agenda
  • This is a key strategic role and you will shape the growth strategy for the private label business unit for the next five years
  • This UK operation is part of a large international food group but acts with independence and agility so you have the ability to make a significant impact!

 

The role:

  • We are looking for a Private Label specialist to take up this Senior National Account Manager role to develop the PL strategy and partner with the Top 4 Grocers.
  • You will work closely with the Sales Director defining the category/channel strategy and work with the major retailers to deliver first class execution, top line sales growth and profit
  • With responsibility for c50% of the UK revenue this is a key role within the business and you will need to bring robust budget management, trade spend utilization, and sales forecasting skills
  • Excellent selling, negotiating, and relationship-building skills as well as the ability to navigate multiple stakeholders and projects will be key

  • Salary is pitched £60-70k (Dependant on experience) plus 12.5% bonus opportunity, car allowance, pension and healthcare
