Seeking an ambitious junior sales candidate looking to develop as an NAE for a leading FMCG Confectionery business. The successful candidate will support on Speciality Customers and Hamper Retailers, too.

Client Details

This is a large, well-established business in the Confectionery industry.They manufacture Own Label and Branded confectionery products. The successful applicant will have experience within Branded Confectionery, looking after Grocery Mults.

The Branded Team currently has 5 members, across NAE, NAM, SNAM level, and you will be joining as an NAE to support on look after speciality Wholesalers and Hamper Retailer accounts.

Description

The successful NAE - Branded Confectionary/Chocolate (Remote) will:
  • Play an integral role in new business pitches and hold responsibility for overseeing Grocery Accounts (80% relationship management) and a small area (20%) of business development (within and outside of existing accounts)
  • P&L
  • Work independently, remotely and be a team player!
  • Support on JBPs for all current and opportunity tender business, support with pricing, forecasting, category reviews, NPD launches, whilst also liaising with finance and supply chain
  • You will act as the key interface between the customer and all relevant divisions.
  • Report on the status of accounts and transactions, weekly/monthly/quarterly/yearly Set and track sales account targets, aligned with company objectives.
  • Monitor sales metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts).
  • You will be looking to take a first step into FMCG Sales, as an NAE


Profile

The successful NAE - Branded Confectionary/Chocolate (Remote) should have:
  • At least one year working for an FMCG/Consumer business, or demonstrate great merits to enter FMCG
  • Ability to work independently, entrepreneurially and as a team.
  • Some experience in sales and an ability to drive team commitment toward business goals.
  • Knowledge of CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • An understanding of sales performance metrics.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Up to £35K basic salary + up to 20% bonus
REMOTE working + customer visits
