Job Details

Our client:

  • A well renowned non-food supplier across multiple product categories including licensed products, gift, toys and home.
  • Products are fun, innovative and well renowned in the UK market and internationally. Have a number of market leading licenses.
  • Customer channels include grocery, online, discount retailers and international markets.
  • The business continue to invest, innovate and grow further both in the UK and overseas.
  • An opportunity has arisen to join the team as Export Sales Manager managing European retailers & distributors.
  • Culture is fast-paced, entrepreneurial and agile.

 

The role:

  • Managing and developing European business, both direct to retail and via distributors.
  • Work closely with internal product development & marketing teams to find solutions for customers.
  • Opportunity to grow existing business substantially across multiple categories and a high number of product SKUs.
  • Develop new business across countries the business are not currently trading with in Europe.
  • Responsible for budgets and sales targets.
  • Be tenacious, driven and a self-starter. Able to spot opportunities and develop relationships quickly.
  • Will need to have previous export/international sales experience
  • Ideally, you will have operated in a similar product category such as licensed products, gift or toys for example. Other non-food areas will also be considered
  • Have the drive & tenacity to develop new business and also build on existing relationships
  • Be comfortable in a fast-paced, product driven company and be self-motivated
  • Able to travel to Europe 4-5 times per year approximately as per needs of the role
  • Be personable, a team player and able to deliver results
