Job Details

A respected market leader within the Commercial Interiors sector, who have experienced rapid growth over the last 10 years, are looking to strengthen their team with the key recruitment of an additional Area Sales Manager to manage and develop an existing portfolio of accounts within the independent retail sector.

 

About the Role:

 

As the fast-growing retail market evolves at pace, your role will be to keep at the forefront of the market and new projects – spotting and leveraging opportunities to grow sales with existing products and customers; and proactively creating openings to sell in products and bring new customers on board.

 

Specifically, you will be responsible for:

 

  • Develop a customer list across Lancashire, West Yorkshire, South Yorkshire, North Yorkshire, Humberside, Co Durham, Tyne & Wear.
  • Create a specific business plan to proactively identify and target growth opportunities.
  • Maintain and develop relationships with existing and potential customers at all levels of the customer hierarchy, in order to provide support and develop awareness of the company’s products and services.
  • Sell and influence the sale of products and services within margin guidelines.
  • Maximise the sales of all products across different applications (by market sector) to ensure the highest margin opportunity can be achieved whilst ensuring billings targets are reached or exceeded.
  • Identify, record, monitor and convert project opportunities within the marketplace to maintain and improve market share.
  • Identify market and competitor information and feed it back to the business in order to ensure market requirements and competitor developments are incorporated into marketing and product plans.

 

Key Skills/Experience Required:

 

We’re looking for a sales professional who shares our passion for the ceramic tile sector; its products and trends. You’ll need to have the tenacity, enthusiasm and can-do attitude to take this amazing brand and build both excitement and commitment amongst customers.

 

Ideally you will be working in the Ceramic Tiles sector or a related market such as KBB and Building Products, that has experience selling to Independent Retailers within the Geographical area.
