Glassworks International have been designing, manufacturing, and supplying quality glass products to clients for over 20 years. Our specialist, award-winning service includes managing the entire glass supply chain, from the conception of a glass product, through to the creation, warehousing and distribution of glass to clients across the UK, Europe and beyond.

 

The role:

As part of our ongoing expansion programme, we are seeking an additional member to join our dynamic sales management team.

The successful candidate will be customer focused, passionate about service, highly motivated and will demonstrate a strong will to succeed in the exciting food packaging business.

Industry experience is preferable, however first and foremost, we require the right hunger, attitude and ability to attain and maintain our all-important customers.

 

Key information:

Location- Saffron Walden, Essex (home office is a possibility, depending on location)

Contract- Permanent

Annual Leave- 20 days pa plus birthday and bank holiday

Salary- Competitive with high OTE potential

 

Responsibilities:

Representing Glassworks International to all our customers and business partners Acquire new business and develop older partnerships into new growth Monitor industry trends and patterns to identify areas of opportunity for the business Manage existing relationships with both suppliers and customers Work with logistics department to forecast requirements to ensure customer demand is met Attend customer sites to oversee products in use and troubleshoot problems Developing new projects and products according to customer requirements Advocating for the customer internally

 

Requirements:

  • Eligibility to work in the UK A full UK driving license
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an account manager role
  • A drive to pursue new opportunities independently

Preferable but non-essential:

  • Experience in the food & drink sector
  • Experience in the packaging sector
  • Familiarity with HubSpot CRM
