Are you looking for a fresh challenge within the world of OOH and have experience in working with Contract Caterers? Looking for a more agile business that still retains its challenger brand mentality while achieving strong brand status in its category?
Here at Signature, we are partnered with one of the most impressive FMCG brands who are London-based, (home-based contract depending on location) and who are looking to appoint a National Account Manager to take responsibility for a large proportion of their OOH channel. Contract Catering along with B&I in OOH presents a huge opportunity for growth and as such, they’re looking for someone who can really put a strategic focus on this channel, building and nurturing relationships to set them up for growth.
What this is not, is a door knocking, out with end users day after day, but a more strategic role collaborating with key head office buyers and working with the wider internal team to execute. If you’re looking for something that is more end-user-focused, this won’t be for you. But, if you’re operating in a more strategic capacity… we should talk!
This will suit someone who is strategic in nature and enjoys operating in a collaborative, inclusive, team-orientated environment that all share a common goal!
This is a brand who have a strong heritage and can demonstrate consistent growth. The last 15 years have seen them step change their business model and push into new business areas now wanting to take charge of a growing category and one which sees them outperform their competitors when it comes to growth.
Key responsibilities:
- Full P&L accountability across key Contract Caterers as well as Brakes
- Own the strategy and execution (leading through others) that delivers against sales growth and new business opportunities
- Continue to build on strong RTM relationships maximising existing contracts
- Develop, negotiate, and execute a joint annual business plan with the customers
The successful candidate will hold the following skills, experience and personal attributes:
- Experience in working with RTM accounts in OOH FMCG (Brakes/ Bidfood)
- Full P&L accountability, JBP planning, negotiation and implementation
- Developing strategic customer growth and new business plans
- Curious nature combined with commercial acumen
- Numerate, able to consider data and draw insight
- Ability to influence, inspire and collaborate both internally and externally to ensure delivery
In addition to this:
- To succeed in this role you have to be a people person, you win through developing relationships and can navigate your way through complexity.
- You also have to be able to demonstrate you can think differently – how do you engage with customers outside of the norm, are you trying to move forward doing things that your competitors aren’t?
- You’ll show initiative and demonstrate growth – you’re hungry for more demonstrating commitment to deliver above and beyond what’s expected. If you’re happy to settle with the status quo, this won’t be for you.
