My client are in search of a driven and results-oriented Export Sales Manager Drinks to join their growing sales team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in export sales, with a focus on international markets outside of the UK and Europe.

Based in South East England, my client are a market leading wholesaler of drinks. Having access to all of the leading alcohol brands, they have built a strong international customer base that they provide first class service to.

They continue to deliver excellent year on year growth and are looking for an ambitious export sales manager to further enhance their international footprint by helping them to grow in new and existing international markets.

Description

The Export Sales Manager - Drinks:
  • Find and onboard new volume customers (duty free / border stores / importers / wholesale / larger retailers / trading houses / distributors) in multiple (non-Europe/non-UK) markets to sell international alcohol brands to
  • Commercial management of key customer accounts
  • Setting up (pricing and negotiation) and overseeing deals, liaising with back office.
  • Committing goods for stock at the right time and at the right volumes
  • To bring operational efficiencies and market insight which enables the business to deliver the best possible procurement service aimed at ensuring long-term customer engagement and maximum revenues.
  • Maximise regular revenues and profitability from existing customers
  • Proactively research, approach, onboard and begin regular and profitable trading with new customers.
  • Oversight of entire sales cycle to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Creation of key account management plans
  • Devise and own the sales strategy; contribute to our pricing and purchasing strategies.
  • Ensure that the company's proposition is clearly expressed and understood in all markets.
  • Manage budgets and challenge costs like a business owner.


Profile

The Successful Export Sales Manager - Drinks:
  • A proven track record within export sales
  • A proven track record of volume international sales of alcoholic beverages / drinks / food / FMCG products
  • Understanding of how the international market works (e.g. Which business are buying? What products are they buying? Who are they buying from? Who are they selling to? Which customers buy from the wider market and not just brand owner/distributor?)
  • A network of volume buyers in international markets - duty free / border stores / importers / wholesale / larger retailers / trading houses / distributors.
  • A network of international clients outside of Europe / UK
  • Track record of growing accounts through strong and effective commercial management
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • A confident and dynamic personality.
  • Work independently and take personal responsibility for sales and revenue
  • A team player with a proven ability to work well under pressure and to commercial targets.

Job OfferThe Successful Export Sales Manager - Drinks:
