Country Sales Manager UK - Country Sports.


The Country Sales Manager UK - Country Sports will be responsible for the following:
  • Meet the agreed commercial objectives targets, across turnover, market share and distribution
  • Face to face selling, as the CSM will look after a small group of key customers in the UK also
  • Attend and represent the brand at industry fairs and local events, including open days with agreed planning
  • Define and develop new channels and structure commercial policy together with the Area Sales Manager from the head office
  • Ensure weekly planning and reporting of the internal customer service team as well as the regional account executives
  • Coordinate with line management, UK site management, customer service management and associated internal stakeholders to ensure alignment, commercial focus and best use of resources to maximise commercial efficiency
  • Set KPIs for the regional account executive team
  • Plan schedule and visits to own customer portfolio
  • Monitor all commercial results on a weekly basis
  • On a regular basis, coach, train and mentor the wider team
  • Participate and play an active role in planning meetings
  • Propose commercial objectives and activities to maximise sales across the region
  • Review sales team performance on a regular basis and action where needed
  • Represent the company at industry exhibitions, events and product demonstrations where applicable in accordance with the marketing team calendar of events
  • Attend the my clients' International sales meetings a minimum of twice per year in Europe
  • Attend quarterly business reviews
  • Attend dealer trips and training at supplier factories and dedicated dealer events
  • Continue to maintain and update product and technical knowledge of my clients' brand and competition brands in the market to stay on top
  • Review personal performance on a regular basis, meeting and exceeding set targets
  • Focus on historical and relevant data available to stay on top of dealer performance, spend and future opportunities - utilising available data to maximise opportunities with all dealers
  • Target and assess potential new retail accounts on an ongoing basis
  • Make all relevant recommendations on products, services and policies to maximise customer relationships


The Country Sales Manager UK - Country Sports will come with the following skills and experiences:
  • Current or recent experience in sales team management, either in a national or regional remit
  • Proven track record of setting and meeting commercial targets, both on a personal basis and achieving great results through the management of a high-performing team
  • Strong IT skills with experience of CRM management
  • Excellent presentation and organisational skills
  • Self-starting, ambitious and driven individual who relishes the achievement of results
  • Strong interest in country sports - interest and experience with guns, ammunition, optics and outdoor equipment sales
  • The successful candidate will be mobile nationally and able to travel as and when necessary for the requirements of the role

The role is remote therefore we are open to most locations in England.

Job Offer

£60,000 to £65,000 per annum DOE + Company Car, Bonuses, Benefits.
