We have a fantastic opportunity for an IT Support Technician to join a team of high performers in our IT department.

The IT support role covers all aspects of supporting our retailers with their electronic point of sale (EPoS) needs from training and guidance to problem diagnosis and issue resolution.

Your main responsibilities

  • Work within a small team of call handlers to support retailers with their EPoS solution
  • Support desk duties for all components and IT solutions linked to the system
  • Coach retailers on the EPoS solution functionality
  • Follow up on all calls to ensure retailer issues are resolved promptly
  • Liaise with 3 parties i.e., maintenance, hardware suppliers and software suppliers
  • Follow stock procedures when booking in or booking out stock
  • Support projects being carried out within the department
  • Support the installation team and 3 party engineers when required
  • A proactive approach to monitoring call queues to actively resolve outstanding issues

About you

  • Technical background within EPoS beneficial or similar support desk experience
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels of the business and with customers
  • Sound understanding of IT processes and technical skills in diagnostics
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple demands
  • Innovative problem solving
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Flexible and proactive approach
