The role of Key Account / Business Development Manager is seeking an individual with ideally some experience selling into NHS/Acute Hospitals. This individual may have passion for driving growth in the Healthcare Textile industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for touching base with hospitals/providers in their patch (South + Greater London) with occasional visits to Head Office.

Description

The successful Key Account / Business Development Manager will:
  • Sell/maintain with warm business accounts: NHS Supply Chains / NHS Laundries / Acute Hospitals and potential to develop business in further sectors (i.e. Care Homes/Distributors).
  • Build rapport and trust at Supply Chain level and touch base with hospitals to ensure supply and demand are matched.
  • Learn and develop product knowledge (slide sheets, blanket sheets, gowns, slippy socks)
  • Track sales metrics and report data to senior leadership.
  • Identify new business opportunities to ensure company growth, including upselling and cross-selling.
  • Manage negotiations with clients effectively and close sales deals.
  • Address potential problems and suggest effective solutions.


Profile

A successful Key Account / Business Development Manager: should have:
  • A degree in Business, Marketing or a related field.
  • Some experience selling Healthcare Products into Healthcare/NHS/Care Homes OR knowledge of NHS Supply Chain
  • Patch Size: South England including Greater London
  • Excellent ability to work independently, manage your diary and work as part of a team
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics


Job Offer
