Seeking a driven NAM for a leading role within FMCG Confectionery. The successful candidate will manage Key Grocery Accounts, as well as Speciality Wholesalers and Export Customers too.
Client Details
This is a large, well-established business in the Confectionery industry.They manufacture Own Label and Branded confectionery products. The successful applicant will have experience within Branded Confectionery, looking after Grocery Mults.
The Branded Team currently has 5 members, across NAE, NAM, SNAM level, and you will be joining as a NAM to take over on Grocery Accounts, look after speciality Wholesalers and Export customer accounts; these accounts will be based on the successful applicants skill set and experience.
Description
The successful NAM - Grocery (Confectionery) will:
- Play an integral role in new business pitches and hold responsibility for overseeing Grocery Accounts (80% relationship management) and a small area (20%) of business development (within and outside of existing accounts)
- Full P&L responsibility, ££m
- Work independently, remotely and be a team player!
- Write JBPs for all current and opportunity tender business, manage pricing, forecasting, category reviews, NPD launches, whilst also liaising with finance and supply chain
- You will act as the key interface between the customer and all relevant divisions. Report on the status of accounts and transactions, weekly/monthly/quarterly/yearly Set and track sales account targets, aligned with company objectives.
- Monitor sales metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts).
- You will have a good blend between hunter and farmer mindset.
Profile
The successful NAM - Grocery (Confectionery) should have:
- Proven experience as a National Account Manager within Grocery, ideally within Confectionery.
- Ability to work independently, entrepreneurially and as a team.
- Solid experience in sales and an ability to drive team commitment toward business goals.
- Knowledge of CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- An understanding of sales performance metrics.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
