National Account Controller – Grocery

c£75k plus car allowance, bonus and benefits

Central London based (3 days in office, 2 days WFH)

 

Client:

  • We are looking for a National Account Controller to take a player/coach role for an established SME drinks company based in London
  • You would lead UK sales strategy, coach a team of two (SNAM/NAM) along with some direct account management for Sainsbury’s
  • This established brand (#2 within their category) has strong distribution within the Grocery channel, backed by strong consumer metrics and are delivering some exciting NPD, so are well positioned for strong growth!
  • You will be joining a high-performing & passionate team with the opportunity to deliver stability and continue to cultivate growth opportunities across Grocery & OOH retailers  

 

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • We are looking for a Sales Leader (Head of Sales, National Account Controller or experienced Senior National Account Manager) with proven success within branded packaged goods environment
  • Will need to have operated with the major grocery customers and would benefit from having broader channel experience (OOH, High Street, Convenience)
  • Possesses leadership experience and understands managing vs leading; infectious energy and ambition that motivates candidates
  • Strategically strong and highly commercial
  • Naturally be able to hit the ground running, thrive with responsibility, independence, acting at pace but also getting stuck in!
