My client, a rapidly growing, market leading sports brand are looking to add an International Sales Manager DACH - Sporting Goods to their team.

My client are a rapidly growing, market leading sports brand who have delivered significant growth over the last few years. With a fantastic, in-demand brand, they continue to develop in new markets all over the world and deliver record growth.

This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to manager the DACH market, a market which has huge demand and growth potential for this fantastic sporting goods brand.


This will be a home based role with regular travel to the DACH region when required.

Reporting to the Sales Director, you will undertake the goal of doubling the business in the DACH region. You'll have complete ownership in executing the agreed strategy to grow the brand in existing and new channels including sports shops, toy stores, national retailers and any other channel you deem suitable for the product.

You will be heavily involved in every element of a fast growing consumer company including commercials, product development, business development and will be a key figure in the growth of the DACH market.

International Sales Manager DACH - Sporting Goods:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their satisfaction and identifying opportunities for upselling.
  • Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to expand the brand's presence into other channels within the DACH region - toy stores, sports shops and national retailers / national department stores.
  • Identify and establish relationships with key retailers
  • Negotiate and pitch to new businesses
  • Assist in the creation of a suitable product range for channel specific focuses such as supermarket chains and large national retail markets
  • Meet and exceed sales targets through effective territory management and sales strategies.
  • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to potential clients, showcasing the unique features and benefits of the products
  • Collaborate with local partners and influencers to enhance brand visibility and credibility in the sports community.
  • Work alongside the UK sales team in the management and strategy of core channel customers.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands to provide valuable insights to the marketing and product development teams.
  • Provide regular reports on market conditions, competitor activities, and sales performance.


The Successful International Sales Manager DACH - Sporting Goods:
  • Happy to travel to the DACH market when required
  • Proven track record of international sales within an FMCG / Consumer company
  • Proven track record within the DACH region
  • You will have a network within the DACH region across sports stores / toy stores / national retailers / grocery / department stores
  • Spoken German is desirable but not essential
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • In-depth knowledge of sales strategies and techniques.
  • Proven track record within international business, delivering sales growth and the development of excellent, sustainable business relationships.
  • Proven track record developing new international accounts
  • Entrepreneur profile, you will be very autonomous and a self - starter
  • Understanding impact of sales activities and customer's demands in admin, finance, logistics areas mainly.
  • Team building and empathetic profile to build long term sustainable business relationships with customers, suppliers, and employees.
  • Be based in the UK / England / Germany.

Job Offer

The Successful International Sales Manager DACH - Sporting Goods:
  • £50,000 - £60,000 per annum base salary
  • Uncapped commission - likely earning is £15,000 - £20,000
