Category & Shopper Marketing Executive
Driving Sales with Strategic Shopper & Category Insights
Job Description:
The Shopper and Category Marketing Executive is responsible for developing and executing shopper marketing strategies and category plans that drive sales growth and enhance brand visibility. This role involves close collaboration with sales, marketing, and retail teams to create and implement effective in-store promotions, merchandising solutions, and category management initiatives that align with overall business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Shopper Marketing:
- Develop and implement shopper marketing strategies to increase product visibility and sales at the point of purchase.
- Analyse shopper insights and market data to identify opportunities and optimize marketing efforts.
Category Management:
- Conduct category reviews and analyse sales data to develop category growth strategies.
- Work with sales teams to align category plans with customer needs and market trends.
- Monitor category performance and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with the sales team to develop customer-specific marketing plans and promotions.
- Liaise with brand and marketing teams to ensure consistency in messaging and branding.
Analytics and Reporting:
- Track and analyse the performance of shopper marketing campaigns and category initiatives.
- Use data-driven insights to refine strategies and improve future marketing efforts.
Key Skills & Exp:
Educated to Degree Level
2+ years’ experience (ideally within Shopper/Category functions)
