Bonne Maman has experienced rapid growth becoming a top 150 UK food and drink business in 2020. They have seen significant success in the UK over recent years becoming brand leader of the jam category in 2013 and now a major player in chilled desserts and yoghurt. Bonne Maman is known for its simple, great quality, natural products evoking a homely welcoming and trustworthy brand. To support this growth they are now seeking an Assistant Brand Manager.

Andros is a family-owned business based in South-West France with a turnover exceeding 3 billion Euros and 46 manufacturing sites globally.

They're a leading European fruit transformation and chilled dairy producer, manufacturing the internationally famous brand Bonne Maman, as well as many private label products.

Bonne Maman is the leading brand within the jam category, has grown to number three in spreads and is now a strong competitor within chilled desserts and yoghurts. Their commercial operations are based in Hammersmith and they have a factory in Somerset.


This role will suit someone who enjoys taking responsibility and ownership and is looking for an opportunity to work in a pioneering environment where they can really make a difference.

You will join a close knit and supportive team with an autonomous working environment. You will have the opportunity to build brand marketing experience from inception through to planning and implementation. You will have the chance to support across a wide range of activities, including full mix communications, as well as NPD.

Main tasks and responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the development and execution of the annual marketing plans
  • Support innovation projects, working with Senior Brand Manager and cross functional teams to deliver from concept to launch
  • Work as part of the team to optimise consumer communications
  • Assist with 360 market activation to support brand plans e.g. shopper, PR, digital and social
  • Work with and brief agency partners
  • Own and implement in-house launches to engage Andros colleagues
  • Support the smooth delivery of brand selling meetings with customers
  • Understand and report on brand sales and marketing project performance versus objectives, with clear conclusions, learnings and actionable recommendations
  • Ensure the business is aware of competitor marketing activities and their impact
  • Manage the administration of invoices, orders, record keeping, brand insight etc.


A successful Assistant Brand Manager should have:
  • A passion for food combined with a natural curiosity for consumers and new products
  • A self-starter, able to work alone and in a team
  • Strong organisational skills, able to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple projects
  • Determined to make things happen
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Analytical and inquisitive
