The company are a market leading organisation within the Building Products sector, that are looking to strengthen their senior management team with the key recruitment of a Specification Sales Manager.

About the role
This role is critical to the sustainable growth and ultimate success of the business within the next decade and key points are;
To support the sales strategy of the business, focusing on interacting with Architects, Fire Engineers, Façade Engineers to the benefit of both businesses. You are the face of the business for these channels, supplying a professional, responsive and positive service to customers, putting our customers first at all times.
- As a Specification Manager, you will be responsible for the management of Architect, Fire Engineer, and Façade Engineer customers within your nominated region.
- To create demand via specification for our product portfolio and system solutions to ensure growth in all relevant applications.
- Seek and develop new opportunities with targeted specifiers, design teams, and architects to add to the portfolio.
- Collaborate with the commercial teams ensuring orders are fulfilled, including on-site support when required.
- Develop and maintain relationships within architectural accounts at all levels - executive, office, and site.
- Manage and maintain a current project listing by partner and manage their forthcoming project pipeline to provide a forecast for the organisation.
Job Function Technical Knowledge and Skills:
- Management of the day-to-day tasks necessary for the successful running of our supply chain agreements, pipelines, and future collaborations
- Manage time effectively in the field by spending at least 3 working days in front of customers.
- Develop and maintain in depth knowledge of market and sectors, especially relating to market trends, opportunities, threats, and competitors’ activities; and providing appropriate communication and direction to internal departments.
- Gain an understanding of your customers’ wants and needs then support them to deliver growth for both businesses.
- Develop close relationships with customers continually adding value to such relationships, thereby ensuring continued customer loyalty (solution sales and pull demand).
- Develop and maintain thorough product, systems, and application knowledge.
- Complete and submit sales reports and associated administrative tasks accurately and on time.
- Deliver training presentations to user groups when required and agree to implement follow-up activities that will lead to winning opportunities.
About the individual:
The Ideal candidate will currently be a Specification Sales Manager within, Building Products, Commercial Interiors sector who has experience in selling to Architects, Specifiers.
You should also be able to demonstrate strong business acumen and strategic thinking and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Remuneration:
Basic upto £70K, Good Bonus, Great Benefits, Quality Car.
