Sales Representative – Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, South Yorkshire.

 

£31,000 to £35,000 + sales bonus + company car + 25 days holiday + pension + life assurance + healthcare + mobile + laptop + fuel card + work-from-home.

 

This is an outstanding opportunity to join one of the UK’s leading garden trade suppliers, replacing a Sales Representative with 10 years of service. The job holder will enjoy a thorough hand-over and a loyal customer base of almost all garden centres in the region.

 

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Create an effective journey plan that maximises customer contact time.
  • Use your relationship building skills to secure long-term partnerships with all accounts.
  • Provide an exceptional experience for the customer through the highest standards of customer service.
  • Demonstrate a broad range of sales skills – persuasive selling, negotiation, order capture. merchandising, new displays, problem solving and in-store training.
  • Devise creative initiatives to grow business within individual accounts and across the whole region.
  • Provide sales forecasts and market feedback to the National Sales Manager on request.
  • Attend trade shows or other showcase events

 

Sales Representative – candidate specification

 

We are looking for an experienced Sales Representative from another professional garden trade supplier  who bring their knowledge of seasonal selling and understanding of garden centre operations.

 

Specific qualities will include:

  • A home location in Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, South Yorkshire Field sales experience dealing with independent garden centres
  • Great relationships with garden centre staff and buyers
  • A talent for account management with sound sales and negotiation skills
  • A persuasive communicator able to influence both internally and externally
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative
