Job Details



The Head of Sales will lead in driving growth within the UK (Luxury Retailers) and with International Distributors (MENA/Europe). This is a new and critical role that requires expertise in sales, strategy, team leadership (1 x Direct Report, and 15 Indirect Reports) with a track record of success.

Client Details

My client is a Luxury British Fragrance brand who deliver the finest ingredients and fragrances, as well as dealing in gifting and candles! They were founded in the UK 15 years ago and are strongly developing their presence internationally, too.

Experience managing Harrods/Selfridges is essential for the role as these are KEY UK accounts!

You will be reporting into the VP Sales and working closely to build strategy for the UK/MENA/Europe

Description

The successful Head of Sales - Fragrance (UK) (MENA / EUROPE) will demonstrate their ability by:
  • Full P&L responsibility for the area
  • Lead and develop the team to achieve targets
  • Negtotiate contracts, conditions, spaces, activations with retailers and distributors
  • Drive business performance: analyse sales data to drive Sell In and Sell out and continuously evaluate business perforamnce, providing actionable insights to enhance sales effectiveness
  • Creating a partnership with distributors through regular business reviews and strategy alignment
  • Monthly visits of markets and counters to implement an action plan to grow the business
  • Management retail (people management, KPIs, inventory)
  • Develop and implement a robust sales strategy for the UK, MENA/Europe
  • Track and monitor KPIs
  • Manage investments to deliver any savings for the business and maximise ROI
  • Create and analyse reports to identify areas of improvement and development for individuals and team performance
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunieis, collaborating across the organisation to activate and build a robust pipelines across all channels
  • Execute key internal routines and forecasting processes


Profile

A successful Head of Sales - Fragrance (UK) (MENA / EUROPE) will be able to demonstrate
  • Proven experience in a sales leadership role within the Fragrance / Beauty
  • Strong sales track record
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Strong customer relationship management skills
  • A results-driven approach with a dedication to achieving sales targets
  • Commitment to travel to Brighton HQ, 1-2 times a week
  • Experience iwth Harrods/Selfridges ideally
  • MS Office tools + Excel
  • Ability to build rapport across the business and work collaboratively with different departments
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the capacity to make data-driven decisions
  • Hands-on approach and ability to juggle responsibilities effectively


Job Offer

On offer for the Head of Sales - Fragrance (UK) (MENA / EUROPE) candidate:
  • A competitive salary starting at £65,000 - £80,000 (Open on experience, hence the variance - assistant buyers/buyers, KAM's, Wholesale Managers who are ambitious and want to excel and push themselves)
  • Hybrid: London / Brighton + 1 day working from home
  • 15% BONUS, paid annually - Individual Sales + Company targets
