Exciting opportunity for a bright fast learner to join our fast Food & Beverage team in an interesting support role with development opportunities for the right person.

What you will be doing
As Sales Support Administrator, you will report to the Head of Food & Beverage Division, whilst supporting all F&B Account Managers. Your typical duties will include answering the phone and replying to emails, scheduling appointments and preparing sales quotes, contracts and agreements. You will also organise sample requests and record data onto our CRM and BC systems.
Using your passion for food and drink, you will also perform research toward identifying potential sales opportunities and trends.
Your key responsibilities include:
• General support to Account Managers
• Gathering information from database & preparing quotations
• Preparing customer sample requests and product workflows on CRM system
• Completing Technical documentation as part of NPD/EPD/R&D process
• Data entry into CRM system, recording customer and project information
• Show an active interest in food and drink products and trends
• Liaising with internal departments, being a critical link in NPD & Sales process
• Acting as first point of contact - dealing with customer correspondence and phone calls and diverting messages to the correct person
• Assisting with organising F&B trade shows and customer visits
Essential:
• A passion for naturals, food and flavour
• Experience in sales support administration, or similar.
• Be a people-person with strong communication skills
• Be highly organised with the ability to prioritise your workload and customers’ needs
• Be a tenacious problem solver
• Be discreet and trustworthy
• Be numerate and have computer skills (including ability to develop database / CRM system and MS Excel)
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple projects and their associated timescales and objectives
• Provide excellent customer service and be able to build strong relationships with both internal and external partners
Desirable
• Would suit someone with a background in an administration role
• Knowledge of botanicals and natural flavourings
Location & Salary
Based on an idyllic 200-acre organic farm in Herefordshire (HR9).
Personal transport is essential due to rural location, hybrid role.
