In this exciting role as a Marketing Communications Manager, you will be leading and managing marketing and communications strategies in the Medical Device industry. The role requires in-depth knowledge of the medical device/healthcare sector, excellent communication skills, and a passion for marketing.

Description

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans aligned with company objectives and market dynamics in the UK.
  • Brand Management: Lead efforts to strengthen and differentiate the brand through consistent messaging, positioning, and visual identity.
  • Product Marketing: Drive product marketing initiatives to promote adoption and utilisation of products among healthcare professionals.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive opportunities.
  • Digital Marketing: Oversee digital marketing strategies including website management, SEO/SEM, email marketing, and social media campaigns to reach target audiences effectively.
  • Content Development: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to create compelling content such as sales materials, educational resources, and multimedia assets.
  • Event Management: Work alongside events team to plan and execute participation in industry conferences, seminars, and training events to showcase products and expertise.
  • Team Leadership: Develop and manage a team of marketing professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to drive performance and professional growth.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and ROI-driven decision-making.
  • Performance Measurement: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives, and provide regular reporting to leadership.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and competitive landscape
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies


Profile

A successful Marketing Communications Manager should have:
  • A degree or equivalent in marketing, communications, life science, or related field
  • Proficient understanding of medical device/healthcare marketing. Marketing and Communication Managers with a track record in building successful marketing functions will be preferred
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to develop and implement successful marketing strategies
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate marketing performance
  • Ability to work collaboratively with team members and stakeholders
