Position: Account Manager

Based: Haddenham, UK

We are excited to announce a new vacancy within the structure of one of our key partners in the flavour industry. The successful candidate will report to the Senior Account Manager and will have the ability to act independently. We offer a hybrid work schedule and are looking for someone ambitious, motivated, and able to work under pressure.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Dealing with existing and new customers, implementing the business strategy.
  • Participating in the formulation of joint business plans.
  • Working with Demand Planning on improving forecast accuracy and availability.
  • Coordinating customer events, including culinary demonstrations, Brand Events, and Trade Shows.
  • Ensuring that negotiations with accounts for fiscal terms and profit levels are well planned, agreed, and budgeted, and ensuring all activities are effectively planned and executed with excellence.
  • Keeping abreast of industry and account-specific trends, competitor activity.
  • Building relationships with cross-functional teams to help effectively grow the accounts.
  • Tracking defined company measures and proposing remedial actions to address gaps.
  • Supporting SNAM with key business tasks.
  • Supporting with customer interactions and aiding in regular business reviews.
  • Assisting on day-to-day tasks such as promotional planning, product set up, internal & external data reporting, pricing hierarchy, new line forms.
  • Supporting Brand team with newsletters, brochures, new product set up.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • FMCG experience (preferred).
  • Relevant experience and education.
  • Excellent relationship building and communication skills.
  • Good commercial understanding.
  • Strong analytical skills to be able to derive opportunity from insight and data.
  • Good business understanding.
  • Ability to confidently present to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Possession of a “Growth mindset”.
