£54,212 to £69,875 Basic plus generous car allowance and a ( lucrative ) bonus scheme based on the performance of your team

Our client is one of the largest regional brewers in the country, selling not just their own product but a wide range of bought in products including spirits wines and soft drinks. A recent strategic alliance with a national wholesaler has presented an opportunity to dramatically expand the geographical reach of the company’s delivery / catchment area. The area has a substantial base of existing customers having been supplied previously via another route to market, so this area comprises mainly current and live accounts. That said there is much scope to expand on the customer base and to win new business.

The main thrust of the role will be to manage, train and mentor the sales team in the south so we are seeking an accomplished and experienced man manager for this role. You should be able to demonstrate a structured approach to people management over at least three years and to be able to clearly identify results you have achieved via others. We are also looking for well-polished sales, people management, mentoring and training skills.

To be considered for this exciting position you should be based in the southern home counties ( including Dorset, Hampshire, Wiltshire or Berkshire ) and be from an on-trade background ( whether pubs, hotels, restaurants or other on-trade outlets ) and that can be from either a brewery background or from a wines or spirits background or even from a composite wholesale background.

In return for your dedication and efforts our client is prepared to pay a basic salary of between £54,212 to £69,875 plus generous car allowance and a ( lucrative ) bonus scheme based on the performance of your team.
